Urbino 12 LE

Designed mainly for suburban operations, the new low-entry bus is the latest addition to the Solaris range. Thanks to the new concept of the bodyframe, the new Urbino 12 LE is significantly lighter than its predecessor and provides increased passenger capacity. With better weight distribution, the drive axle load in the new Urbino 12 LE has been significantly decreased. Much better parameters in this regards have been gained thanks to moving all the air tanks to the front part of the vehicle and by positioning fuel tanks on the front wheel arches. The new low-entry version has been prepared to be equipped with Euro 6 engines of various volumes. The new Urbino 12 LE stands out in terms of its comfort and ergonomics. Passengers will certainly benefit from the spacious and increased interior as well as wider and higher doors, the second of which has been moved further to the back. The spacious rear part of the vehicle is fitted with six rows of seats, ensuring passengers’ comfort even on longer suburban routes. Solaris’s engineers made sure that the access from the low-floor part of the bus to the rear is comfortable and easy.
